Our community economic development is a community driven process where communities identify and initiate their own solutions to economic, social and environmental issues to build healthy and economically viable communities. Our methodology for community economic development contains principles and goals based on a grassroots approach to development where communities choose deliberate actions to influence the local economy and improve the quality of life for its residents.

We also believe in educating communities concerning how economics development impacts our communities and countries. Can a specific community have a strategic plan to shape economic development? The answer is yes!

Additionally, we support in the creation of policy for our customers that drive environmental strategies that are crucial to their mission.

We support communities to help enable them to use the principles of community economic develop, adopt a good planning process and choose appropriate strategies to achieve the goals. This means that community development, economic development and environmental sustainability are not left to chance but are directed by the people who live and work in the community.

Our strategy for workforce and economic development, attempts to enhance a region's economic stability and prosperity by focusing on both people and businesses. Our work-force development team has evolved from a problem-focused approach, addressing issues such as low-skilled workers or the need for more employees in a particular industry, to a holistic approach considering participants' many barriers and the overall needs of the region.

Ours is a two-prong approach:

1. Place-based strategies that attempt to address the needs of people living in a particular community.

2. Sector-based strategies that focus on matching workers' skills to needs in an industry already present in the region.

We have had success across both approaches and themes for implementing best practices. We help build and implement successful workforce development programs that have a strong network of ties in a community, and are equipped to respond to changes in their environments.
